May - December 2010. “Seniors and Children Read Together”

A new Russian Library and Community Information Centre’s  project “Sharing the Gift of Books”  encourages seniors  to share thier skills, knowledge, cultural expiriences with children through reading books togehter, teaching children how to read in Russian, discussing books and telling stories.

The Russian theatre "Teatralnaya Laboratoriya of Vadim Maksimov" in Toronto

The Russian experimental theatre "Teatralnaya Laboratoriya of Vadim Maksimov" arrived to Toronto from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, last week. The Teatralnaya Laboratoriya will produce a performance in cooperation with Canadian actors during next two weeks. This will be aplay of Canadian playwriter Vladimir Milman, directed by Vadim Maksimov.
