Library card

How to be a member

You may apply for the Russian Library card, when you show an ID with your name and address.

1 year membership:

$55.00 - for children under 12
$90.00 - family membership card (for borrowing 4 items)
$110.00- family membership card (for borrowing 6 items)
$189.00- family membership card (for borrowing 10 items)

6 months membership:

$35.00 - for children under 12
$60.00 - family membership card (for borrowing 4 items)
$70.00 - family membership card (for borrowing 6 items)

1 month membership:

$15.00 - family membership card (for borrowing 2 items)

You can use all library materials in the library reading room for free.

Children under 12 must have their card signed by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if your name, address or telephone number changes. The charge for replacing lost or stolen library card is $2.

Borrowing materials

Loan period is 15 day for most items. You can renew items that are not new release features by phone. If you return something late you pay a fine 30¢ per day per item.

Some items at the Russian Library cannot be taken from the building. You can use these items in the library reading room.

You will not be able to use your card to borrow, reserve or renew items if you have more than 6 weeks overdue materials or you have more than $10 in fines. The cost of lost or damaged items should be reimbursed to the library.
