The Russian Library and Community Information Centre plays a key role in our community. As the only Russian Library in Canada, we are not only a collection of unique materials in Russian language for people of all ages and backgrounds - we connect people to each other and a world on information and culture.

You can support your library and help us to promote literacy, a love of reading, and the exploration of ideas, culture and knowledge by making a donation or volunteering at the library.

Donations

The Russian Library appreciates donations of materials form individuals and groups. We accept currently popular new and used books and other materials that are in good condition, as well as rare, historical or significant books. By donating books to the Russian library you make these books available to all people who treasure books and love to read and contribute to the community as a whole.

Volunteering

Support the Russian Library with your time, energy, and ideas by becoming a volunteer!
Volunteering at the Russian Library gives you many opportunities to support our community, to meet new people and to learn new skills. Our volunteers help the library in all important areas of service, with special events, programs and projects.
