Alena (Olga) Joukova  was born in Ukraine in Odessa city. She is journalist, scriptwriter, movie critic and writer. Author and co-author of films "Dikaya Lubov" (1993 year) and "Zefir v Shokolade" (1994 year) In 1994 she emigrated to Canada. In Canada she collaborated with many newspapers and magazines. "Nasha Canada"," Russian Info Toronto"," Canadian Courier ", magazine " St.Petersburg " USA - gazeta"Novoe Russkoe Slovo" magazine "Slovo / Word",  Russia -Nikita Mihalkov "s magazine" Svoy "and electronic magazine"Topos".Ukraine - gazeta "Odesski Vestnik" Alena Joukova is the official representative of the Nikita Mihalkov's magazine “Svoy” in Canada. Her prose is highly appreciated by famous writers such as – Igor Guberman and Zoya Boguslawska.
